About the people census 1930

The second census after the formation of Czechoslovakia was initially planned for the year 1925 (by the law no. 256/1920), Because of deteriorating financial situation in the state the realisation of censuses in 5 year periods seemed to be too costly and the new law no. 47/1927 determined 10 year period of censuses.
The day of census was December 1, 1930.
In comparison with the year 1921, the 1930 census was extended by certain data concerning married women (date of last marriage, date of divorce, number of children born in last marriage), and data like the previous residence, unemployment, light physical defects of respondents.
